Simon Lindfors

Simon Lindfors is one of the founding members of the ARCOS Team. Prior to joining ARCOS, he worked with leading Private Equity firms in Stockholm and London including Apax Partners, Advent Partners and Five Arrows Principal Investments of Rothschilds & Co. Simon established Apax Partners in the Nordic region together with Lars Johansson in 2004 and ensured that Apax Partners became the most active international PE firm in the region by 2009. He has been responsible or involved in a number of successful Leveraged Buyouts including Unilabs, Capio, Plantasjen, TDC. He has extensive experience of Leveraged Buyouts and has negotiated a number of sub-investment grade financings with banks and private debt providers. Simon has also privately led the management buy-in and development of Humana over 10 years, turn-around deals Ownit and Avesina and growth deals Northmill and and Leovegas. In addition, Simon has 7 years’ experience from advising on Mergers and Acquisitions, capital raisings and IPOs, 3 years’ venture investing experience as well as 3 years’ experience in management consulting focused on strategy and organisational development work, including the establishment of the Swedish bad bank in 1992. Simon holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden.
